Shirley Marlene CROWDER Obituary check_circle

Shirley Marlene Crowder of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the age of 73.
She will be lovingly remember by her daughter Candy Thom (Tim) of Calgary, grandson Michael Thom of Calgary, sister Geraldine (Bob) Little of Lloydminster, brother Gerald Kozmeniuk (Melody) of Danbury, nieces Michelle Renault (Olivier) of Montreal, Melissa Paterson (Ian) of Beaconsfield, England; great grandnephews Bastien, Alexandre, Charles and Albert; nephews Dustan Kozmeniuk (Robin Smith) of Steven, Sk. Claytan Kozmeniuk (Stephanie Dubiel) and great grandnieces Bailey, Teagan and Jillian.
She was predeceased by her husband Floyd, parents William and Nellie Kozmeniuk and her brother Barry. Shirley was born on August 19, 1944 in Canora, Saskatchewan and spent most of her adult life in Calgary. In the last ten years she split her time between Calgary and her summer residence on Gleniffer Lake, Alberta. Shirley loved to craft, always innovative in the next project. She loved playing cards with friends, and painting, a newfound hobby. Shirley was a kind, thoughtful and gentle soul. She was so proud of her family and she will be deeply missed by all of them.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Mountain View Funeral Home , (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank all the Healthcare Professionals in CICU at the Foothills Hospital for their care and compassion.
